Ingredients- red lentils, kalamata olives, carrots, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, sweet chili sauce, and whole wheat or gluten free hamburger buns.
Cooking InstructionsLentil Burgers
Thaw Completely. Put contents of lentil bag into a food processor or blender. Pulse a few times, to blend ingredients, but do not liquify. Stove-Top- Heat 1 Tbls oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Form desired number of patties with mixture (smaller is better as they are very delicate when turning- then you can pile 2 on top of each other to eat), cook for 4 minutes on each side, until warmed through. Oven- Heat oven to 350d. Put lentil mixture in a square baking dish sprayed with oil. Pat down like a meatloaf. Cook for 20 min, or until top is slightly browned. Cut into large squares. Serve with buns and sweet chili sauce. HC Points: 6
