This is such a classic and delicious dish from Argentina and so easy to make. The chicken breasts will marinate in our chimichurri sauce made in-house with fresh italian parsley, garlic, smoked paprika, red wine vinegar and a dash of red chili flakes (very mild) to tenderlize it, then gets grilled or pan-fried and served with more chimichurri sauce! Serve with the included roasted corn in smoked paprika margarine or olive oil sauce. This is the best way we have eaten corn! Smoked paprika, a touch of sucanat and lime juice and a dollop of butter bake together with the organic corn for a delicious, easy and elegant side dish!EARTH BALANCE MARGARINE WILL REPLACE BUTTER IN THIS MEAL.
Cooking InstructionsArgentinean Chicken, Pork or Steak w/ Yam Fries
Keep yam fries frozen. Thaw meat completely. Oven (recommended for pork & chicken): Preheat oven to 350d. Put meat in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 min for chicken, 35-40 for pork, or until no longer pink. Grill (for all meat): Preheat grill on medium heat. Place steak/pork/chicken on grill. Cook steak 6-8 min on each side for medium doneness, cook pork/chicken for 10-14 min per side, or until cooked through. Skillet- (only recommended for flank steak) Heat skillet on medium heat. Spray with oil and saute steak for 6-8 min on each side for medium doneness, 9-10 min each side for well-done. Sauce- serve over meat at room temperature. Yam Fries- heat oven 350. Spread on cookie sheet and bake 23-27 min, turning once.
