Cooking InstructionsCabernet Black Currant Reduction over Steak
Thaw Completely. Steak: Grill: Preheat grill to med/high heat. Put steak on grill and grill for 3-4 1/2 min EACH side for medium doneness. Remove steaks, let sit 5 min. Stove-top: Heat skillet on med/high heat. Cook steak 4-5 min each side, or until desired doneness. Cabernet Black Currant Reduction/Pecans- Pour bag of pecans into saucepan. Heat on medium heat for 4 min, until pecans are lightly toasted. Remove from pan and pour bag of wine/black currants into saucepan. Heat over med heat and let reduce for 10 min, stirring often. Serve sauce over steak and sprinkle with pecans. Oven Fries- Heat oven to 400d. Spread fries on baking sheet and cook 18-20 min, or until warmed through. Mashed Sweet Potatoes- Heat oven to 375d. Pour sweet potatoes into a baking dish and heat for 15 min. Stir and cook another 5 min, until hot throughout. Sprinkle Paprika Salt over oven fries or sweet potatoes and serve alongside steak.
